A connector application was continually cracking parts due to stress at the bond line. The design of the center aperture didn't allow the stress to be distributed properly. Needing samples immediately, the laser gave us the ability to use an AutoCAD .dwg file to make an exact replica of the customer's new configuration, which allowed the stress to be diverted from the bond.
